What was originated (native to) in Levant region. Wheat is the leading source of vegetable protein in daily human food. Wheat has higher protein content than other major cereals like maize and rice. Wheat is considered as one of the staple foods in today’s world and is being used for many purposes such as bread, biscuit, cookies, cakes, breakfast, cereal, pasta, couscous, noodles.

Coffee Beans Growing Guide


Coffee is one of the flowering plants grown for its seeds called "coffee beans". These coffee beans are the source of various coffee products and beverages. Coffee trees are small and native to topical regions of South Africa and Asia continent. Coffee production plays major role in widely traded commodity crops in the world. Coffee is one of important major export crop for many countries. There are many species of coffee are grown in the world. However, "coffee arabica" accounts for major portion of coffee production (an about 70 to 80%). Other species of coffee “coffea canephora” is accountable for about 20 % of world production.

Turmeric Growing Information



Turmeric is a rhizomatous herbaceous perennial plant which is called as "Curcuma longa" scientifically. Turmeric belongs to of the ginger family, Zingiberaceae. Turmeric plant can reaches up to 1 meter height and is highly branched with yellow to orange, cylindrical, aromatic rhizomes. Turmeric is native to southern Asia and is being used as condiment, dye, drug and cosmetic in addition to its use in religious ceremonies. Turmeric is one of key and major ingredients of Asian dishes.
